It all started in the year 1980

When our current MD’s father, Mr. Hansraj Gada, was making Industrial products such as rotter holder, starter sheets, and connectors, among others. Everything was running smoothly until a tragic mishap. The entire building collapsed on a night of 1990. Luckily, this happened at 8.15pm when the building was empty and no one was harmed. But unfortunately, we were all back to square one.

It was also the time when our MD, Mr. Manoj Gada, had just graduated in B.E. Production. He then studied the company and the market, and suggested that we start our own brand. Established in the October of 1990, we bought our first place in Goregaon(East) under the company name- Aerolite Industries. And so, in the year 1991, our company started manufacturing switches in Urea Material (compression moulding process) under our own brand name i.e. “Aerolite”.

Starting with the manufacturing of Deluxe (Piano type) switches and 2in1 sockets and accessories, we then manufactured our Golden Range-Elle-Dici-Excel Range of switches. Further expanding to hi-fi and hi-class, we took a great leap forward.

We procured the second factory space in Goregaon (E) in 2001 and finally, Elleys’ came into existence in the year 2002. Our next two factories were set up in Haridwar and Vasai in the years 2007 and 2018 respectively. We plan to further expand and set up a new factory in Palghar in the near soon.

A brand that started with a dream team of 8-10 people, currently employs over 2500+ passionate people all across the nation, and only grows with each passing day and every new factory. Elleys’ Modular switches the story of one home and one space at a time!
